Your Early Bird Core Set (and standard Core set) will come with 1 Randomly inserted Spirit Tintype. It also comes with 1 Full Size Spirit Interviewer Wooden Board, 1 Wooden Planchette, 1 Glass Oculus, 3 Safe Passage Metal Coins, 1 Guidebook and 1 Canvas Carry case.
Since you’ve pledged the Early Bird Edition, you will also receive a 2nd Tintype - The Mercenary. You have the option of adding on additional spirits and biographies with our Add-on expansion packs as seen in our campaign. With the Early Bird, you can just adjust your pledge higher to accommodate which add-ons you’d like, and then let us know in your survey at the end of the campaign. (But don’t forget to add $2 for each additional item.)

Is this a playable game, or a ouija board?
Well, it’s both. We’ve redesigned the spirit board from ground up, and we’ve also added elements to help the players/users focus more during the session. We’ve created a game with biographies of spirits that you can contact and converse with as well as hold your own seances. The Spiritus Colloquium is rich with back story and will help you enjoy your spirit board experience much more.
The mini add-on games and expansions add additional play value for the users as well, such as modifier coins, dice games, additional spirits and biographies, etc. And as the campaign unfolds and the more that we are supported, we will add in more features.

How do I play?
Each set will come with it’s own guidebook.
For the Core sets: To conduct an interview using the Spiritus Colloquium, place all the components on a flat surface. Now the user must offer compensation in exchange for communicating with the beyond.
From left to right, place the coins of Safe Passage on the corresponding spots on the board. As you do so, call out the coins by name. The user may now remove the coins.
The user may now ask to communicate with the Spirits Vinctum - the spirit bound to the board. Call their name and ask them to recite their code word using the planchette. Provided with the correct code word, the user may now ask any questions.
Upon ending the interview, place the planchette over the words GO IN PEACE on the board. Remove the planchette and place the Safe Passage coins back on their corresponding spots, but this time with the coins flipped. Recite the final closing words.
The interview will now be over.

What materials are the Spiritus Colloquium made from?
The Spiritus Colloquium Spirit Board is a 5mm thick maple board with custom art on top. It is custom die-cut with a durable foam layer on the bottom to avoid movement. The planchette is also made the same way. The oculus is real glass and will magnify the viewing window.
The spirit tintypes are made of a metal sheet, have a matte black backing finish and are distressed. They are about the size of a credit card.
The coins are metal and measure 38mm thick. The core set has a nickel finish, and other finishes will be available as stretch goals, such as copper, brass, etc.
The Artifacts will be authentic items from the past.
The Seance Edition Reclaimed Wooden Box is just that, made of reclaimed barn wood and will be crafted by hand using vintage nails. It will also include metal hardware.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
