Latest Updates from Our Project:

Coins coins and more coins
over 3 years ago – Wed, Dec 09, 2020 at 06:20:41 PM

As you all know, some of you first hand, this has been an extremely tough year to navigate. We are doing our very best to stay on track. Some materials are hard to find, some people we rely on have been ill, lead times are longer, but we forge on.

We have some highly anticipated updates on our coins.  We tried a new process on mold making and so far so good. A photo or two on that below.

Also exciting is we resculpted our original Coins of Safe Passage. We feel there is great improvement in details and anatomy. We hope to have these in hand within a month.

And we will have board photos soon! This is with the upgraded wood and new tooled leather like backer.

We are busy plugging away and tweaking game play and other details! Stay tuned and stay safe....

over 3 years ago – Mon, Nov 02, 2020 at 06:50:28 PM

Happy Halloween to everyone! Tonight's update is just to let everyone know some production items have been arriving and we will showcase them one by one. Tonight we have The Toy Maker poster. After much back and forth, we have a nice finished piece that will look amazing framed or as is hanging behind your spirit interviewer set.

More updates coming soon, including a finished board and planchette with updated backer, and some insight into the interview and game play.

Stay safe!

The Toy Maker
over 3 years ago – Thu, Oct 15, 2020 at 11:30:14 PM

Every story you've ever heard, urban legend and lore, all have a kernel of truth to them. Sometimes names are changed and events are embellished, but they always stem from a time, place and person that once existed.

If you listen to our audio in the KickStarter introduction, you will understand this project is no different. The Toy Maker was real and so too his rise to fame and ultimate fall from grace.

This hand crafted poster was recreated to depict him in his heyday. The invention of the Spiritus Colloquium made him a legend, but robbed him of everything he worked so hard to build.

The final poster is 18" high x 10" wide and will be printed full bleed on 10pt matte finish card stock. This extremely limited edition piece will look great framed as an accent piece behind your seance set.

Here are a few insider secrets- The wooden box in the photo represents the Toy Makers first career as a wood worker. The Coins of Safe Passage he is casting away were ironically never used in the first set. The Witch, Hazel Triggs can be seen watching ominously over his left shoulder. The tintype photo he is holding was of someone very near and dear to the Toy Maker.

We continue to work hard day and night to bring you this unique set. Stay tuned for more updates!

Autumn is here and the ghost stories appear- Annie's Road
over 3 years ago – Tue, Sep 29, 2020 at 05:04:35 PM

Annie before prom

Not for the faint of heart...

Annie's Road is an urban legend that belongs exclusively to Totowa, NJ. The story begins with Annie and her abusive boyfriend at her high school's prom and ends in tragedy on Riverview Drive.

The events in their entirety, are uncertain. What is known is that Annie's boyfriend became abusive  after a night of drinking and somewhere between dropping her off on a dark stretch of road in the middle of the night and her house some miles away, she went missing.

We say missing because she was never found, except for a bloody streak on the road and guardrail along with her flower corsage.

The legend says whenever the conditions are right and you have a night like the one Annie went missing, you can see her blood on that same stretch of road, just as vivid as when the incident took place.

We have secured a photo of Annie before her prom. As you know from our other spirit updates, this original photo will be replicated and you will be able to bind Annie's being to your Spirit Interviewer. There she can guide your seance and answer any questions about the night she went missing. Each spirit comes with a code word. Be sure to use that code otherwise you run the risk of communicating with something more sinister...

More updates coming soon.

Lavender's Class Photo and Coin Renders
over 3 years ago – Sun, Sep 06, 2020 at 05:44:36 PM

Good evening to everyone that helped make this project possible. The weather is starting to cool and the days grow shorter.

We have had a few coin updates and this is because they are one of the most intensive things to get done and also a big part of the Spirit Interviewer set. These are in production and wanted to share some final renders and we are very happy to announce they came out really amazing.

Modifier Coin Renders
Et Capra Render Detail

These are technically an add on to the original Coins of Safe Passage, so the backs will be the same as the originals. This is the Eternal Rest closed eye design.

Also, we have Lavender's class photo! Her photo will be the artifact used to bind her spirit to your board. This set comes with her photo, binding spell and backstory. You will be able to ask her questions about anything, but she will mostly want to discuss the details of her afterlife. However, with the Modifier Coins above, you can ask her things about your life!

The binding spell is also an important part of this set. As long as you have an artifact from someone who has passed, you can use the binding spell to have their spirit guide the interview. This works in conjunction with the Coins of Safe Passage and our Spiritus Colloquium.
